The Hostal is centrally located and is on the Camino route. Room 105 faces the street, but is very quiet. The room is spacious and comes with two single beds, two chairs, one wardrobe, one small table between the two beds and a bigger one directly opposite. There's even a small flat TV. The bathroom has a small bathtub. The room was clean and the owner friendly and helpful. Breakfast very cheap and good. Many restaurants, bars, shops and sights around and nearby.

Hostal is in a good location in a quiet street and within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and the historic centre. The room was a good size, beds comfortable. Good shower over the bath, toiletries were provided. We arrived by bicycle and the host was happy for us to put them in a garage next door. We ate breakfast at the bar at the end of the road which was good value and had plenty of choice. For a one night stay, Hostal Alfonso VI is excellent, it's great value for money.

Nicely located, clean and quiet. Room well equipped. The receptionist speaks english - what a positive surprise. We travel within the EU and nearly nobody of the teams of the Hostels can communicate in a language other than Spanish… so easy and smooth check-in.
