Looked and felt brand new, the hosts were just so keen to help and everything smelled absolutely lovely too. They let us secure our bikes and when we asked for cups for our own kettle they brought a full tin of teas and their own coffee was gorgeous. Lovely people, lovely place. We were touring one month and left the room in a mess for the ten minute walk into a lovely old town and when we returned, it was pristine. 5+5 ☆

The location was great. The owner was wonderful. She even opened that evening after a bus with a large number of children were stranded because of the snow fall, and opened the facilities for them.

Sigüenza Cathedral and Plaza Mayor Square are only 400 metres from the guest house. Free parking can be found nearby. Madrid is a 90-minute drive away.

Flat-screen satellite TV can be found in each room at Hostal Doña Blanca. Rooms have wooden floors and simple, elegant décor. Amenities are included in the private bathrooms.

This was an awesome place, it is in a touristic village of about 4500 people, everyone in the village is absolutely wonderful, the Hostal itself absolutely exceed my expectations from the hospitality to the breakfast and quality of the foyer/main room is absolutely amazing, I could not recommend this Hostal enough, we (myself and my wife) came to the village because of a wedding but we would come to tour the historic village anytime. Would I stay here again? ABSOLUTELY

We stayed at the Parador one night. The location above the old town center of Sigüenza is very nice. The room itself was ok. It's a Parador - historic building with ordinary rooms. There was not much to see inside of the castle. You get cheaper and better rooms in smaller, historic buildings. We didn't dine or have breakfast there as there are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. It was an ok experience, not more.

A nice small hostal in the middle of the old town centre. A warm welcome by the friendly and helpful staff, a clean, rather small room and bathroom. There's plenty of bars and restaurants around and the old town is charming. You don't need more for a stop on your way to the south..

Staying in a castle is very special! As with many Paradores it could use some investment in upgrading the rooms and in staff but it was very comfortable and wandering around the castle was great. We had one of the cheaper rooms but it was perfectly fine especially as it was too cold to sit outside if you had invested more to have a balcony. There were good restaurants in easy walking distance so it was not necessary to eat at the Parador restaurant.

The decor is great, welcoming and well themed. The door access via app was a revelation and worked really well (no more lost keys). A fantastic location, really quiet and we parked just outside the door. Breakfast was great and our host was lovely, taking time to explain some of the agricultural artefacts in the reception area. Would absolutely recommend.
