La Escapada, guest house in Uleila del Campo

La Escapada is set between the Tabernas Desert and Cabo de Gata Nature Reserves, a 60-minute drive from Almería city. Each air-conditioned room includes satellite TV and free Wi-Fi.

Hostal La Escapada has a café, which opens early and serves a light continental breakfast. There is also a bar-restaurant, where guests can enjoy traditional Almerían meals and tapas.

We had visited the hotel 3 years ago, at that time everything was old and dated. This time we stayed a a fully renovated room. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious, well cared for and clean. The personnel was very friendly and very helpful, even though er do not speak any Spanish. They were willing to speak into my telephone to the Google Translate App, and listen to the translated sentences I had spoken.
