We absolutely love the location of the house, it is surrounded by nature everywhere you look (from the bedroom or living room) and with the soundtrack of the river. It feels like you are back in time but with all the modern comfort. The home, with plenty of original features, is beautifully decorated with a french feeling to it, very rare to find in this part of Spain. Even the bed linen and tableware are of the best quality. You feel the care in every corner of the house. The owners of the property are very open and warm, and they balance giving privacy and also a lot of nice tips on the area. I am afraid of dogs, and they had it in mind at all times. We loved having a morning coffee, lunch and evening drink in the porch.

Excellent place and location. The place itself was cozy, very pleasant, and very clean. It is pretty new (or at least recently remodeled), contains a full kitchen, and has very comfortable beds. There were also a good number of things to do in the area. Within walking distance: 2 excellent wineries and a beautiful lookout over the canyon. Within easy driving distance (<30 minutes): the town on Monforte for restaurants/supermarkets, a couple interesting castles (in Monforte and Castro Caldelas) and, of course, the canyon of Sil itself. Would highly recommend this place, both for the location and the house itself, and Fernando was very helpful in getting us settled in.

everything was exellent. The house is beautiful, spacious, decorated with great taste. It is an excellent starting point to visit many places in Riberia Sacra. The garden is beautiful and surroundings are breathtaking! We obtained a lot of tips for interesting places, fantastic restaurants and many more. We were greeted with a delicious wine and arroz con leche🙂 We will definitely be back!
