After winding up through the beautiful town of Getaria and into the surrounding vineyards, you find yourself at Golindo Goikoa. The house is absolutely gorgeous and in a truly idyllic location, with views over the town and over the coast. It’s easy to get to by car and other towns are easily accessible, like Zarautz. It’s also only a 10-15 minute walk down into the centre of Getaria from the house and very easy to catch public transport to the neighbouring towns from there. Juanjo and his family are incredible hosts - wonderfully helpful and full of interesting information about the region and things to do in the surrounds. It’s amazing to have the local knowledge from them when you arrive to help you figure out what you’d like to do during your stay. We absolutely fell in love with this place and would highly recommend it. Eskerrikasko!

This was a real find in a wonderful ocean side town. Our host was completely accommodating meeting us when we were having trouble finding the property. Although it was in a historic building, it had recently been renovated. Great breakfast was included.

Patient and kind owner helped us check in, also kindly put our laundry on the line (pilgrims), we were very satisfied with our stay and thank the owner for making us welcome and putting up with our bad Spanish! Excellent location close to restaurants and bars. Easy access via the lift to the 2nd floor. very quiet so a great nights sleep and the rooms and en-suite were super clean and comfortable.
