Set in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port and with Baigorry Church reachable within 11 km, Gite de la Porte Saint Jacques: a hostel for pilgrims offers a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a terrace. Just great. Awesome albergue, the energy was very pleasant. It’s very tastefully equipped and clean. It has a nice terace and also a meditation room which is uncommon. The breakfast was tasty and the host is very kind and helpful.

The beds are comfortable and bigger than expected for being a bunk. The staff was great!! Sadly I didn't have breakfast there cause I asked them for a recommendation of a typical Bordeaux place, which they did and it was delicious!!!!!

Because of a strike no buses drive at the day I wanted to leave. But I got driven to the train station! They always try to find a way to help you out. Extraordinary!

WHOO hostel is one of the nicest hostels I’ve ever stayed in. It’s clean, funky, and the downstairs lobby is such a vibe. People who don’t stay here even come to use downstairs as their ‘work from home’ space - which is a good sign! The hostel is very clean, and does good coffee. The staff members are so kind - and always up to help you! There are different fun events on here too, like a DJ night & learn to dance night & a ping pong table!
