Casa Yaya is a modern townhouse with Andalusian features, original wooden furniture, carved doors and traditional pottery. The hosts redesigned the space as their second home in December 2022, making it suitable for solo travellers, couples, as well as families. It’s located in a quiet area and with super high WIFI it is perfect for remote workers. Casa Yaya has a small rose garden in front of the house. There are two bedrooms with king-sized beds and anti-allergic mattress protectors, and a bathroom with floor heating and a washing machine on the ground floor. The living room with a smart TV, fully equipped kitchen, including coffee, tea and cooking basics, and another bathroom are upstairs. Each floor has a south-facing terrace where you can enjoy unobstructed views of the Mediterranean sea from sunrise to sunset. Behind the house is a shaded patio with orange trees ideal for coffee in the afternoon. A third bedroom is available for guests in the basement at no extra cost. 325 sunny days, free access to a large community pool and a number of well-maintained public beaches make it the ideal vacation spot all year round. The coastline is dotted with medieval watchtowers and romantic lookouts, and numerous bays suitable for snorkelling, diving, fishing and water sports, especially paddle boarding and kayaking. The area is also suitable for hiking, with a network of easy to medium difficulty trails across the Sierras de Tejeda directly accessible from the house.

The property is 20 min walk (5min drive) to the bustling Nerja downtown, with Spanish and international cuisine, Tapas bars and popular rooftops. The urban bus stop is conveniently located 1 min away from the house (10 min ride). There are restaurants and supermarkets in the area, small merchants sell fresh produce from the region and antiques on the local market (10 min walk) every Tuesday and Sunday. Casa Yaya is well-suited for remote work with a 600 Mbps fibre internet connection. Restaurants and services in Nerja are open all year. Airport transfer is available and you can rent cars, motos and bikes in Nerja. Free parking is available on site and on street.
