Our Home is a 1880s rural farmhouse, the ideal getaway for adults in the Secret Heart of Andalusia. A place where you can unwind, relax, refresh and enjoy nature; where Irish Hospitality blends warmly with the Andalusian sun. We are situated on the edge of the small hamlet of Los Alazores at an elevation of just over 1000m, within easy reach of Malaga and Granada airports. Unfortunately, because of the age of our home we cannot accommodate people with disabilities. Like all farmhouses in the country we have extremely friendly cats and dogs who add to the sense of welcome and home. El Retiro is hosted offering 3 double bedded en-suite rooms ideally suited to couples.

El Retiro is home to Tommy and his partner Robert, and their four dogs and cats. If you have problems with dog and cats them El Retiro may not the place for you. We do try to minimise contact with the dogs, unless you want them around.

We are on the edge of a small hamlet and there are no shops or services here. our emphasis is on relaxation and tranquility. We offer a Complimentary Spanish Style Breakfast. We also offer Drop and Collect service to the local town for dinner.
