We are Maarit and Hannu from Finland. We are the hosts of La Perla de Frigiliana. Our long-time dream was to move to Spain and start a business with Bed & Breakfast or something similar. Here we are now running this beautiful Villa with stunning views. We live here at the Villa so it is easy for us to be there for you whenever you might need something. We have a little dog, Isla, who is very friendly and eager to meet you but only if it suits you. We speak English, Swedish, some Spanish, some French and of course Finnish, our mother tongue. Our Villa is located on the outskirts of the ‘pueblo blanco’ Frigiliana, one of the most beautiful, authentic white villages of Spain. Our property offers everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay and a great base for exploring vibrant and historic Andalusia. La Perla de Frigiliana Suites & Villa is strikingly built on a hillside of the Sierra Tejeda & Almijara overlooking spectacular limestone caves and dramatic views of the rugged and craggy mountain terrain as well as the Mediterranean Sea. When you choose to stay at La Perla de Frigiliana Suites & Villa you have a choice of one of our four unique suites, each with their own personal entrance. The charming private suites are located on four different levels, so there are some steps to climb at the Villa. Small groups or families with children, will have the ideal holiday in any of our larger suites, all offering at least two ensuite bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens, a washing machine and private balconies and terraces to enjoy the sun and the view.

Our guests value most the tranquil atmosphere and the scenic views from all of our apartments. We are a walking distance (~1 km) from Frigiliana, a whitewashed village with a picturesque old town, narrow streets, numerous restaurants and lovely little shops. The closest grocery store to the Villa is ~600 m and bakery, where you can get your freshly baked morning bread ~500 m. Nerja is only 6 km and 10 minutes by car. In Nerja you find many lovely beaches, lively pedestrian old town with shops and restaurants. Not forgetting Balcon de Europe and the famous Cueva de Nerja.
