Excellent facilities and cleanliness. View over the harbour towards the mountains provide beautiful sunsets. Agaete quieter and more authentic than the South Island mass tourist resorts. Good seafood restaurants and good local Spar shops with large supermarkets 5km drive away. Friendly host provided good communication. Stopped for 2 weeks and host arranged for towels, bed linen and villa cleaning after 1st week; which showed good attention to what is important.

Pdl nieves is a very beautiful and enchanting harbour village with good black sand/pebble beaches and rock pools - I thought it well worth the bus travel to get there. I think you can also hike or mountain bike in the mountains
