The host was very nice and extremely helpful and offered loads of great hiking, event and restaurant tips + loads of fresh fruit, delicious wine and honey upon arrival

There is a strong collective mindset (you’d better speak German though! 😄). You can start great hikes from there (Brecitos - Taburiente - back). You cook together in the common outdoor kitchen, share nice moments, enjoy the vibe. Staff is lovely. Including the 6 dogs and cats and guinea pigs! It has a retreat vibe, you can really relax and breathe up there. It is a must-go if you’re a hostel and hiking person.

Friendly people and super sweet cats and dogs to keep you company if you want. Its also a good place to stay for a longer period, because it really feels like a retreat.
