The owners were just so lovely and welcoming. The building is as described and walking is the best way to get there. We were placed in the attic apartment which was beautifully appointed with a very welcome bathtub. Bed was very comfortable. The cathedral bells were charming and did not disturb our sleep at all. The kitchen was set up perfectly for a short term stay. The only drawback to the attic room, which was not an issue for just one night, is that the only windows are skylights. We thought it would be frustrating to stay there longer than one night without being able to look out a window. The vibe of Hotel Historic is peaceful, warm and welcoming and we would certainly return if we find ourselves in lovely Girona again. We felt it was good value for the cost.
