With Ahungalla Beach reachable in a few steps, Jungle Beach Ahungalla provides accommodation, a restaurant, free bikes, a garden and a bar. The property was beautifully crafted so as not to disturb the stunning surrounding nature. The wooden and thatched finishes really added to the natural look and feel of the environment. The open air restaurant as well as tables and chairs nestled in what I loved to call “secret hiding places” as a child was so thoughtful and made me smile. Every area felt cared for and appreciated which I really felt from the moment I arrived. Barbara, Lars and the team are just incredible. Everyone was so attentive and zen but I appreciated they also allowed me my lone wolf time so I never felt disturbed or intruded upon during my quiet time of reflection and rebooting. I highly recommend Jungle Beach and I cannot wait to return!!! I am already anticipating my next holidays to revisit!! Thank you so much All for such a beautifully relaxing and restful time!! PS - On a separate note the food is also amazing and I often saw guests from neighboring hotels eating at Jungle Beach also! Just such a beautiful place and very grateful for the incredible experience!!

Manthally Cabanas offers unique, handcrafted cabanas in a Jungle setting just 1.5 mile inland from the beautiful Narigama Beach and 2 miles from Hikkaduwa Beach. Everything! The cabanas and the little cute pool are made with so much love and attention to details. The yard is full of greenery, birds and life, so beautiful. But most amazing is the hospitality of Rasi, Chami and especially Anwar who always went extra mile for caring of us. The breakfast was lovely, freshly home made and varied every day. It was really hard to leave the place.

Located 400 metres from Unawatuna Beach, Unawatuna Backpacker Lodge provides accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a shared kitchen for your convenience. Wonderful place tucked away just off the Main Street.. super central but still very quiet! The bedroom was spacious and a large living room and kitchen!! We had lots of privacy which we value! would highly recommend!

Ceylon Nature Paradise is located in Uragasmanhandiya, 50 km from Japanese Peace Pagoda, 14 km from Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, and 19 km from Lunuganga. Location is amazing. Like a little private island. Entrance to the resort is like a nice walk in mangrove jungle. It’s really well mantained. We stayed in the ac room and the room was super clean, really comfortable and well decorated. Staff and the owner, ware really helpful and really sweet to us. We can totally recommend to stay here.

Set in Ahangama, Dream Forest Rest offers accommodation with a terrace or a balcony, free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as a garden and a shared lounge. Absolutely amazing people. Ive stayed couple of days and then came back during the same trip before leaving the Island. Kindness above the ceiling. Very warm and welcoming people! Samitha even showed me a lots of places around! If you planning a trip to the South or around this area definitely stop by for some days. If you travel by yourself you can play with Dixie (6y old golden retriever) and you will forget all the worries. Very comfy, spacious rooms with a Nice view of nature. Sooo much nature around. I recommend to rent a scooter in Ahangama as it is 15 minute drive from the beach side. They can cook at home anything you would like to try (even Chinese food) and it is better than any restaurant Ive tried in Sri Lanka so far! Nothing else I can say just Thank you, thank you & thank you!

With Ahungalla Beach reachable in 600 metres, Ocean Pearl Cottage offers accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a terrace and a private beach area. We had a fantastic time at Ocean Pearl Cottage! Room was spacious, comfortable bed and new ac. The host was very caring and lovely man! Once he heard that it was our honeymoon, same evening he left a surprise for us in a room, which I will attach with pictures. Not to mention all additional snacks and drinks during the day and evening. This man really knows what is the highest level of customer service. He also took us to the beach to look for turtles laying eggs at night! He will help you with everything you need. It was a great experience! I would also like to add that Jungle beach bar nearby is a great place to spend time during the day, to eat some food and get a drink with a sunset. The beach itself is also lovely and very peaceful. We had best time out of all places during our 3 week trip in Sri Lanka, thank you so much!

Situated in Ahangama, 22 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium and 22 km from Galle Fort, Ivory Villa features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a garden and a shared lounge. The accommodation was very comfortable and quite worth the price. The people running the villa and incredibly friendly and helpful and made our stay so delightful. You can also rent a scooter from them!

Located 300 metres from Bentota Beach, Sanda Eliya Resort offers accommodation with a terrace, as well as a garden. It is set 1.1 km from Induruwa Beach and offers a tour desk. Our stay was perfect in this place - from the 1st minute we met the host till the minute we left. We even prolonged our stay. The place is beautiful - design, swimming pool, nature. You really can feel the surrounding nature, but at the same time very safe. The special thing is awesome breakfast served. Many thanks to the host - Nuwan, who really cares about his guests. He spent a lot of time with us, telling interesting things about his country, helping with some shopping & transport. We even made our own spice to take home with us and went to night crabs hunting on the beach !!!
