Absolutely beautiful property. Landed here as a result of cutting another unsatisfactory hotel stay short. Wish we'd booked here for several days. Gorgeous setting, fantastic cottage lodging on a rice paddy field. Kind, attentive family and excellent foods for breakfast and dinner. An excellent, convenient location to plan outings from as well.

Featuring mountain views, Sinharaja Kurulu Ella Eco Resort in Deniyaya features accommodation, a garden, a terrace, a restaurant and water sports facilities. The glasshouse room was the most memorable. Surrounded by trees, moonlight and a beautiful waterfall. Owners are so lovely and friendly.

This family run place with cosy rooms is located within walking distance from the entrance to Sinharaja National Park. It offers an infinity pool with awesome views, some really sweet and playful dogs, and just in general a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the middle of the jungle. The family offers the following: - The cool Son brings you cold beer, helps and organises cheap local transport and is an amazing guide who helps you spot rainforest life (and get good photos of it), plus make sure you make it home in one piece. - The sweet Mom cooks some of the best food we had in Sri Lanka. Asking for the spicy option is highly recommended. - The kind Dad takes care of the place and kills any giant spider that may enter your room with a broomstick. Prices are reasonable and upfront in a remote paradise.

Located in Hiriketiya, the recently renovated Coconut Cabin - Hiriketiya Beach provides accommodation 2.6 km from Kudawella Beach and 5.6 km from Hummanaya Blow Hole. The quiet away from busy beach, at night there are no street lights, just the stars and fireflies. Close to (100m) very vibrant beach and great surf spot, lots of restaurants and parties, but when you are in need of quiet, its just 100m away. The cabin is stylish and clean with a private garden. Beautiful kitchen for light cooking. Easy to communicate with Andy, he really makes an effort to help with everything you need. Highly recommended to have a great holiday in Hiriketiya.

Offering a garden and pool view, Greencliff Mirissa is situated in Mirissa, 2.8 km from Weligama Beach and 34 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium. The pool is part jacuzzi, so that was a pleasant surprise. Quiet surroundings with a fantastic paddy field view. Kitchen had all the necessary utensils with a decent supply of spices and condiments. Would definitely come back here.

Set in Mirissa in the Matara District region, Cinnamon View Lodge Mirissa features a balcony. It is located 2.1 km from Weligama Beach and provides room service. Amazing place to stay. Best view, surrounded by nature and jungle style. Beautiful house, quiet and private. Really recommend it.

Located in Deniyaya in the Matara District region, Rainforest Nature House provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. What an amazing place! Incredible view and location. Dumith and his family were extremely accommodating, helpful and caring. The room is well-equipped, private, clean and has proper Wifi. It has a really nice terrace where you can listen and watch all sort of birds pass by. We were treated like family members. They always went out of their way to make sure we are comfortable. Dumith was always happy to show us around and accompanied us all the way to Deniyaya city to make sure we get on the right bus. Highly recommended and will be back.
