Very cozy place with only few rooms. Good beds and well-sized rooms. There is also a common living room which is nice.
Breakfast was tasty and the buffet style offered a lot of options including delicious juices, cheeses and ham from the region as well as pastry
Very nice garden. I liked the massages they offer.

A small, relaxed place, offering nice shops and a number of nice bars and restaurants.
It is bit calmer as other places on the island (except for market days) - especially in the lovely old part of the town around the church.

The staff was incredible, Danny, Ina, Joel, and Liz just to name a few were always happy to help and go above and beyond for our every need and question. They really showed us so much hospitality and kindness. The hotel was gorgeous, truly breathtaking, the designers thought of every detail of the experience and you can feel it. The communal areas were well maintained and intentional.
My only critique would be for the food having incredible moments and some moments that left more to be desired. I would highly recommend this hotel, to anyone visiting Mallorca. Grateful that we stumbled into Cortana in Palma and met Gabriella, who told us to go for lunch. We fell in love with the property and booked a couple of nights. Our stay was nothing short of a dream.

Artà is a real gem to enjoy for its own sake.
Artà is a real gem to enjoy for its own sake. It's a very attractive old town full of stone buildings, that's easy to wander around on foot as there's very little traffic. A fabulous street market on Tuesdays brings plenty of life and crowds of locals and tourists, and although it's primarily there for tourists there's a food market in the centre of it where you can stock up on fruit, cheese and jamon. And apparently there's an even better second-hand market at the weekend (which I wasn't there to see).
There are lots of wonderful friendly restaurants to choose from, a budget favourite being the Italian Pasta Fresca, which offers home-made pasta and is run by two lovely women.
This emphasis on relaxed wandering, shopping and food (rather than bars and clubbing) means that Artà is just lively enough into the evenings, but there is no late night life so your sleep is undisturbed.
Artà also makes a great base from which to explore - it's perfectly positioned to hit the gorgeous (and almost empty) beaches around the coastline of this part of Mallorca. In the last days of September when I went the sea was very warm and crystal clear.
Hiking in the hills is another easy activity from here as you're right next to the national park. These needn't be strenuous: dawn walks on lovely paths are a real treat, and you can get home easily for breakfast!
Artà is easy and cheap to get to from Palma. Having experienced both train and car on that journey across Mallorca I think another time I'd opt to take the direct train to Manacor (1hr/8 Euros) and then hire a car more locally, rather than drive from Palma.

Arta is a traditional, historic small town.
Arta is a traditional, historic small town. Very compact so when you are in the centre its all walkable. The walk up to San Salvador was beautiful and not massively taxing (my 78 year old father managed it with a walking stick). Loads of great bars and restaurants. Very child friendly, my 4 year old made lots of friends in the square!

Arta is a lovely quiet relaxed spanish town.
Lots of lovely little restaurants to eat in or out.
Especially round the square where spanish residents meet and eat. Has a lovely atmosphere at night. Nice little shops. Easy to get around as as its only a little town. A lot of German people live there and have holiday homes there. I love it there but i also like being near the sea so I spent 3 days there and 3 days at Canyamel which is only a 10 minutes taxi ride away.

Arta itself is a cute medieval town with some good tapas bars and views over the surrounding countryside. Its a reasonable size without being too big so all the amenities you need are there. The town is situated in rolling farmlands and there are beaches a short drive away, all of which are quite scenic. However, it's location is a sort of no-mans-land, which means it seems to largely avoid the hordes that descend on the island but everything to see can be quite a distance away (as far as Majorca goes for distance). We found ourselves constantly driving to the more scenically spectacular northern and north-western side of the island - which is where we wished we had stayed (we love dramatic scenery rather than beaches). Overall 6/10
This is a beautiful property that is tucked away yet still close the beautiful town of Arta and the beaches. The pool area has gorgeous views and is so peaceful. The property has e-bikes available for a ride to the beach or into town. We did not utilize the spa but I imagine it to be as lovely as the facilities. Our only complaint is that we didn’t stay long enough. The breakfast was delicious. The restaurant for dinner was set on a tree covered patio overlooking the property. The wait staff was extremely attentive.
Gorgeous, small (but luxurious) hotel with many special architectural features. Staff were amazingly helpful. The rooms, while relatively compact, were lovely - with lots of light and gorgeous windows looking out to a small plaza and quiet streets - but only minutes from the town's historic central town plaza with small friendly cafes and local life. The building was beautifully renovated, lots of light throughout, and really special ambiance.
We extended our trip to Mallorca after I’d read about the Palacio San Salvador, & we were so glad we’d stayed. Great art in the hotel, huge rooms, & excellent location at the top of the hill. The road to the national park is right there too. While in Arta we made a brief trip to Parc Natural, & we biked the Via Verde. Our room, & this unique hotel with comfy lounging areas, was excellent for relaxing after a day of hiking or biking.
absolutely magic location - ever so peaceful and quiet. if you are looking to get away from the daily hussle and buzzle don‘t look no further.
the Fincahotel is set in old farmland up on the hills and overlooking Capdepera bay. You can have breaki and dinner on the pool. Breakfast is excellent.
During the day most guests are exploring the sites nearby , so if you stay , the place is yours!
At least during low season.
absolutely beautiful property! the gardens were beautiful and so well kept. everything was so clean and well done. Breakfast was one of my favorite parts of the day. the staff was very kind and helpful. the photos online don’t do the place justice! everything was 10/10 and I’d stay there again in a heartbeat. Arta is also a great town - less touristy and “tacky” than most parts of Mallorca.
I loved the secret walled garden with the pool! And the rest of the layered garden with special spaces!
Everyone was very welcoming especially with our small dog. A lovely pet friendly place. Arta is an historic small town with many facilities and not far from the coast. But the hotel, garden and ambience of Hotel Jardi d’Arta was exceptional!
such a beautiful place! just heavenly! in a perfect location near great restaurants. it is quiet and peaceful and a lovely design. It feels like a home away from home. And the people that run the hotel are so kind and helpful. And yes a wonderful breakfast!
Great accommodation: lovely, great room arrangement, beautifully furnished with everything you need, very clean, uncomplicated key handover, great location, parking nearby was always possible. Friendly and prompt service.
THANK YOU for the wonderful time
House looks just like on the pictures. Very well supplied house, also the host was very nice and helpful and left bottled water for us, when we got to the house. There was big parking near the house. Definitely recommend for groups of people.
Nice and spacious rooms. Great location, walking distance from several free parking lots and the centre of Arta. We enjoyed the access to kitchen facilities with a fridge, microwave, toaster ... Coffee and tea were available.
Nice to have a courtyard space, and typical Mallorcan decor. The kitchen had crockery and pans etc to cook with, although don't expect any oil or condiments. However there is a supermarket conveniently located nearby.
Gorgeous hotel. Not pretentious but understated elegance. An excellent value. Delightful staff. Room 8 had a great view and quite spacious. Didn't use the 2nd loft bed.
