Chipiona outside of the season is calm, relaxing and wonderful. It is a small city with friendly people and great Tapas. If you want to stay of the grid, have a nice beach, good food and just a vacation to relaxe, this is the right place.

We visited in the height of the tourist season and it was very busy, but enough facilities and wide beaches for everyone to enjoy. Nearly 100% Spanish tourists and residents there, which made the stay very enjoyable. Excellent food in every bar and restaurant we visited. with very friendly and helpful service from everyone we encountered

We especially liked walking along the promenade and sandy beaches. The historic coralles and lighthouse were interesting. A tour up the lighthouse was well worth doing. Chipiona is a small town; there was no musical or dance entertainment during the week in October that we were there. We would recommend it for a quiet, relaxing holiday and we hope to return.

It was pretty quiet which was nice because we had worried a little bit about being close to the road and the roundabout but in fact it was no problem at all. We even found it fun watching people stop at the roundabout to photograph the statue in the middle! Chipiona was the best town in the area to stay in our opinion.

It is also close to the amazing AWA Beachclub, with some of the best food in the region. Being 15 mins walk from the centre of the old town isn’t problematic, as it is a quiet location, and the walk into town is next to the sea.
