It's an excellent place. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Very friendly staff. Thoughtfully equipped kitchen, with a washing machine. Electric heater in the living room. Everything you need.

This is a lovely little town with a cosy feel tucked in 2 kms from the cape at the end of the peninsula. It has a magnificent long white sandy beach with pristine waters and a smaller sandy beach near the port. Lots of eateries and cafes, and an all-round feeling of joy and relief among the visitors who have just ended their camino. I have been twice and loved it both times.

Beautiful coastal location.
Beautiful coastal location. Though main beach wasnt very clean - litter and dead bird. Different local beaches were fantastic though - like a dream location. The Cape Finisterra lighthouse was a tourist attraction that ruined it. Nice markets. Restaurants were ok, though often wouldn’t let you sit just for a drink. Overpriced. Buses were a nightmare to manage and everyone waiting were confused where to go and which bus to get, with not very helpful drivers, though the bus stop was right in the centre which is great. Sunset boat rides. Everything needed was central. Supermarket, ice cream shops, restaurants, banks, ATMs, cafes, hippy store, market, hotels etc.

For me, Finisterre has special significance.
For me, Finisterre has special significance. I have walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain many times on different routes. Arriving in Santiago and receiving my Compostela is not the end of my Camino. I know my Camino is truly complete when I am sitting on the Mar de Fora beach with a bottle of wine watching the sunset. There are wonderful places to eat. The port and lighthouse are always interesting, but the experience of watching the sunset in Finisterre keeps calling me back.

Fisterra (Finisterre) is a pleasant seaside town with great walking nearby. Of course it’s at the end of the extended Camino de Santiago, definitely worth the continuation. A good place to chill out and there is safe swimming on the sheltered main beach.
Seafood is a must and we had some excellent value meals in the parade of restaurants down by the harbour.
I arrived at the top of the hill three hours before check in - dirty, smelly & very sweaty. They let me sit out by the pool under an umbrella in the shade where I was able to cool down & totally relax with a cold beverage.
My mochilla was delivered to the wrong hotel. The receptionist was kind enough to go retrieve it after he got off work.
I enjoyed my breakfast here more than my breakfast at the Parador in Santiago.. This stay has been one of my favorites on the Camino.
Jorge and Solange welcomed us as if we were family. We had just finished the Camino and arrived to Fisterra early. They were eating breakfast with their own family who had just arrived from Brazil and included us immediately at the table! Jorge’s story about his grandmother was inspirational. (And his restaurant recommendations were spot on!) Beds were very comfortable. Shower had great water pressure. We would absolutely stay again.
Jorge and Solange welcomed me like I was part of their family when I arrived after my Camino, feeling tired and sad. They took me in and assured me that I was safe and that this was a place for me to rest. They were helpful with me finding where to go in Fisterra and ensured I had everything I needed. Also served a delicious breakfast and created a place where guests could meet and get to know each other if desired.
The apartment is really well equipped with washing machine, dryer, etc. Everything is really modern and in good condition and clean. The owner Isa is really lovely and shows how everything works. The location is just perfect, 1min walk to the port and the bus station. I felt so comfortable the whole duration of my stay and will definitely book it again next time I come to Fisterra.
Beautiful location in the middle of a small quiet village next to the sea. Very kind landlords, great hospitality. Nice beach right in the village (1 minute walk) and wonderful large beaches in close neighbourhood (less than 10 minutes drive). Close to the town of Fisterra (10 min drive) and Cape Fisterra.
Lovely, interesting, friendly, quaint little hotel, with fab well kept outdoor area- Great small team of people running the place, made us feel very welcome for the couple of nights- in particular Jose- would definately like to return and enjoy one of the rooms at the front with the spendid views !
Pedro was so helpful in advance of our stay, answering questions on transportation to Fisterra, and while we were there. He was incredibly responsive.
The breakfast was amazing- loved the fresh squeezed orange juice.
Location is outside of main tourist area, but close proximity to the beach.
The view was great, the small swimming pool was fun and a pleasant surprise. The room was perfectly clean. A great place to breathe and have some rest closing our vacations. Also interesting to explore the coast more to the south and not staying the whole time in Fisterra.
We stayed in a private room with 2 beds and bathroom. Everything was clean. We had lunch and dinner out, but at the reception area, there is a small kitchen if you want to cook something. Fisterra is a small viallge, so the accommodation was near everywhere.
This little boutique hotel is wonderful. The location is superb, it's flawlessly designed, the views and light of the room make you want to stay inside all day and the bed is super comfortable. I really think we stayed in the best hotel in town.
Must have one of the best views in Fisterra from he private terrace. Everything you need for your stay as accommodation has been well thought out and arranged. Towelling robes, bottle of wine and plenty of coffee were a nice touch.
Very nice and brand new boutique hotel with an amazing view on the harbor. Very nice and good quality interior, big bathroom and an amazing terrace. Very friendly and helpful owner/staff, it is a family run hotel.
Please, please stay here if you end up in Fisterra! It absolutely felt like home. Everyone who works there is so kind and attentive, and the albergue itself was very clean and cozy.
It is good to have the whole place with friends. We are pilgrims and it's location is exactly on the variant route to Faro de Fisterra and onward to Muxia. Kitchen is well equipped.
Spotlessly clean. Super comfortable. Can be a bit dark inside—-but who is in Fisterra to be inside? Not me—enjoy the fabulous terrace! Super stay—-gracias!
Excellent apartment well located just a few steps from Fisterra and also the beach. Brilliant views from the main living area made it a great stay. Recommend
Great place to stay in Fisterra, it is along the road but away to the narrow streets of the town. Great hospitality with open pantry if you get hungry.
