We booked a double room but got a triple room, so that was nice. There seemed to be families living in the area.

I recently journeyed on the Camino de Santiago in Spain and had a largely positive experience. The affordability of the accommodations was a major plus, making the pilgrimage more accessible. Additionally, the cleanliness of the facilities stood out, ensuring a comfortable stay after long days of walking. The provision of blankets and breakfast was particularly appreciated, adding comfort and convenience to my stay. Furthermore, the staff’s service was exceptional—always friendly and eager to help. However, there was a minor issue with the plumbing; the drainage in the bathroom was slightly clogged, resulting in standing water during showers. Addressing this would definitely enhance the experience for future pilgrims.

The location of the accommodation was down an alley with pubs and restaurants which added to the ambience. I enjoyed having a patio off my room even though it was cold and slightly wet . It was easy to locate the Camino path from the accommodation.

While we stayed in Furelos, we were a short walk to Melide.
While we stayed in Furelos, we were a short walk to Melide. We loved the food especially the octopus at Garnacha. Additionally, we enjoyed visiting St. Anthony Chapel. There are many stores should you need to pickup supplies on your Camino route.
Everything was perfect! The staff was very helpful and friendly. If I could give 100 out 10, I would. Totally recommend hotel Lux Melide to pilgrims and tourists staying in Melide. This is a new hotel which is easy to find and near to the famous Pulperia.
Plus point for the convenience of the laundry room and waiting room for the laundry.
it’s one of my favourite albergues on the Camino and I’ve stayed in hundreds over the years. The owner is an absolute gentleman and takes great care of his guests. The kitchen area is excellent and as are the washing machines. The albergue is right in the centre of town, there is simply no better place to stay in Melide.
An old hotel next to a busy highway. Room was ok and so was the bathroom. We were the only guests at the restaurant. I guess it was past high season. The personal were were nice and helpful. Even if the hotel was old and might need a facelift, we slept well for a relatively low penning.
We were well received. There's a well equipped kitchen diner and laundry facilities. €3 for the washing machine but drying is free.
Melide has good restaurants, supermarkets and Pension Orois is on the Camino route.
A perfect place if you don't Want to go all the way to Arzua.
This Pension is very modern and comfortable. My room had a little balcony that gave me a nice peek at the wine zone action in Melide, with dozens of bars to eat tapas and drink awesome wine within footsteps of the pension. The hotel was also very close to the Camino way.
A superb pension on the Camino just before Melide in a quaint hamlet. The hosts are absolutely fantastic, the welcome and information was first class. Rooms are impeccable and breakfast was a feast. The best accommodation I encountered on the whole trip!
Good size room for 3. Very comfortable, warm and good shower. Good restaurant within the hotel. Owners were all so friendly and eager for us to enjoy our stay. Definitely recommend this for any Camino walker or those on holiday.
Outstanding pension by its sister hotel, Hotel Lux. great location, super clean. comfy large bed. washer/dryer in Lux available to guests.
amazing breakfast at Lux. best breakfast ever. deluxe.
excellent manager and staff.
Fabulous house half way between the old town and the main town of Melide, right on the path of the Camino. Fabulous staff, a dip in the pool was amazing after 3 long days of walking ! Loved this house !
