This was our last stop prior to arriving in Santiago. O Pino, delivered, a good few places where to eat and have a drink, buy some gifts, and the locals were very nice. The town isn't very big but is very pleasant and calm which, as you walk the Camino, tends to be what you need and look for.AndresIreland - 4.0Scored 4.0

Perhaps I saw it at its worst, a public holiday. It felt like a ghost town. Can’t recall name of restaurant I ate in but it was on the Main Street, had two rooms with long tables in the middle of each room, so as a solo diner I felt fine. It was hard to identify based on the full booking name so be sure to look up to see the PR PLATAS sign on the roof at the front of the building. Check in was very friendly and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, room was a bit dated but very clean. There were quite a few restaurants within easy walking distance. We purchased the breakfast included and it was a very good full hot breakfast at the cafe next door.Love to TravelCanada

There are a few kinks that need to get ironed out which, in my opinion, would make me give it top scores. The bottom line is when you charge the high prices that you charge, expectations go up. I would not have these expectations had we stayed in a less fancy hotel ( which is how we had been traveling up until this point) I think these suggestions ( see below ) would be quite easy to implement.

It's a nice size tent that accommodates four guests, each one in its own space and bed. The bathroom is convenient, and bright, but not so clean. They have a pool, which was a good bonus for our stay. However, there is no AC, so during the day it gets really hot, but the temperature lowers at night which makes the room more comfortable to stay in. Our bags weren't collected by the transport company and the staff were excellent in contacting us to organise the transport of our bags to our hotel in Santiago. Some of the locals took us to the Corpus Christo festival which is a big deal across Spain. it was a great way to make the last lag to Santiago.
