Good location for us. Because we were meeting with family, we could not enjoy the breakfast. A comfortable bed, goo--sized room with a nice fireplace that warmed up quickly.

The hotel is an old, typical for the region building, and this is what impressed us most - it was also decorated for Christmas, which even made a better impression. The staircases, the lounge, everything preserves a magical vibe. The stuff was helpful, the room was cozy, clean, though a bit shabby. But taking into account the vibe, and the price - it’s ok.

An incredibly charming, thoughtful place with a personal touch. Beautifully decorated and perfectly located within walking distance to shops/cafés/waterfront. Breakfast was probably the finest I had in a Canadian hotel/inn. A small but qualitative selection of fruit, pastries and savory options. Staff was lovely and made us feel very welcome. The other travelers were either very quiet or the house is generally not particularly noisy. A wonderful, memorable stay.

The staff, the room, the location, the breakfast - everything was superb! The property is relatively old and was a large home in times gone by, but the decor and the furnishings and the sympathetic use of the rooms is exceptional. It felt like staying in a the home of a kindly old uncle who is lucky enough to have a team of charming and helpful staff! We could've stayed for weeks!

Such a cute place with so much character! Lots of outdoor sitting options on the porch and among the garden in the yard. Breakfast was lovely. Inside is super cozy with more sitting places to enjoy a coffee or drink. The staff were available but you still felt like you had the place to yourself. We walked downtown multiple times over our stay. We will be back for sure!

The breakfast even though limited was excellent and very tasty, The waitress was very obliging. The Hotel was a very quirky, homely and cosy feel. Location was good if you like a short walk around the area. Oh and don't forget the cookies provided late afternoon, very scrummy!
