I appreciate how the staff maintain the communual kitchen in good order daily (I do enjoy cooking much so cooking meals is part of the travelling experience!). Location of the hotel is a gem for backpackers. The heritage sites and transportation are all within reach.

The location is blessed with native birds, including kaka who have been absent from built up areas for a hundred years. The cottage is well appointed, with a TV; stove; radio; two toilets a bath and a shower. The beds were cozy. Everything was clean, crisp and colour co ordinated.
