We had an amazing stay at Ca l'Escola and the house exceeded our expectations. We loved the huge living room with fireplace, big dining table and open kitchen, very well equipped. The views from the house are amazing. Heating works very well, as well as hot water in the shower. The area is lovely and location perfect if you are planning to go to Aransa nordic ski station (just 9 minutes drive). Also check-in and check-out hours are perfect, we could really enjoy the day of the checkout, didn't have to leave in the morning like in most places. But the best was how nice and helpful the owners of Ca l'Escola were. They agreed to our last minute reservation change when our friends got covid, even though they didn't have to, according to the rules. And we even got lovely welcome and goodbye gifts. So nice! In fact we already booked to stay in Ca l'Escola again.

absolutely everything. the hosts make you feel like you are a part of the family, they educate you on local sustainability and the impact of climate change along with where where you can see some of the most beautiful things catalunya has to offer. I have rarely been treated so well outside of my own family and I recommend everyone to come here at least once in their lifetime.

Excellent breakfast, beautiful location, amazing facilities (what other rural inn like this has a gym?) and super nice people running the place. Owner doesn't speak English but this was actually a plus for me, as I'm learning Spanish and most other people just switch over to English because it's easier. This was good practice.

The location is superb, overlooking the river valley and with views across the mountains. The wood-burning fireplaces were lovely, and the kids loved chopping and splitting wood. The property is spacious and well-equipped, and the garden spaces and terraces amazing for enjoying an evening glass of wine. Very hightly recommended.

It is a beautiful place. Nice modern rooms. Most friendly hosts. Rural feel, cows in the back garden. Small church ringing bells every quarter and hour ! Paradise for hikers and bikers . Mountains and incredible views.
