I came to run a race in Martigny and this hotel was superb and all I needed! Sure, it doesn’t have the amenities of bigger, flasher hotels, but it is perfect for what it is and what it advertises itself as. I will be back for sure!

Great place, spacious, very welcoming host and games for the children such as ping pong table and table football. We enjoyed the large communal area that we could use and also the well equipped kitchen.

The hotel was very close to the station so easy to walk there. The staff were very helpful. I was able to walk from there to the Art museum.
I have been to Martigny many times, and as I speak French I had no problems at all.

We were stunned & delighted with the extensive Roman excavations & displays of artifacts in the museum. Also delighted with the Rodin/ Giacometti / classic car exhibition. Again delighted with the Da Vinci display which was as good as that in the Washington Smithsonian!

Lovely city; lots of shops and boutiques; lots of art and cultural activities including great impressionist museum, Roman ruins, castle and Barryland (traditional St. Bernard dogs museum). Tourist Info center very helpful.
Kind staff, helpful. Hotel is lovely renovated 2 years ago. Clean and comfortabel rooms. Modern. Quiet. From the outside it looks a bit harsh but inside it's a very kind and welcoming place.
Nice location outside martigny, also when travelling and looking for a place overnight. And if you like, the old centre of martigny is still close by for a dinner at the square. (martigny: it's a shame you made this into a big high playground and one can't see the square anymore)
The problem starts when I made a mistake for booking with non refundable option almost 8 months before travelling. Actually I like the hotel and location but the owner is very greedy and never accept my explanation which I prefer to have another option. Long communication with the owner for refund and never possible which other hotel can refund with good reason. I remind those who click for nonrefundable. Think twice. I will never come back again.
At this price, the Hotel de la Poste is very good option. It is conveniently located close to the train station. The hotel decor is a bit dated, but because this is Switzerland, the room was spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and efficient, the elevator was helpful, the mattress was comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was good, and the breakfast buffet was convenient when you're in a hurry to catch a train.
i love the view when i wake up! the garden in front is so beautiful... thick snow!
Kitchen appliances are so fully equipped.
I love everything about this hotel! room is so warm and perfect! thanks for the nice coffee packets.
even though i didn't meet the host, i communicate with him through whatsapp. he is very helpful and friendly.
The hotel reminded me of US hotels built in 60's or 70's, with big rooms and a big parking lot. It is not in the center of town so we used taxis when first arriving by train and thereafter frequent local bus 201. We could walk easily to the Old Town section, though, where we had dinner twice.
As vegans we are always weary when we stay at a small place (or even bigger hotel) about our breakfast choices. The host at the Villa was great and went out of his way to ensure we had an amazing experience with our breakfast. We are very thankful for his throughtfulness.
The room was modern (modern art-style; hotel seems to have been built recently). The room was very clean and silent during the night. The bed was also very cushy. Staff was friendly and helpful. All in all, Swiss quality and a good value for money I would say.
Breakfast was very good- lots of choices and great coffee. Rooms were clean, especially the bathrooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful with directions. Hotel was close to supermarket and restaurants. Loved the view from the fifth floor.
The food, both breakfast and dinner, was superb. The coffee was excellent and the staff super helpful.
Excellent location for walking down to bars and restaurants and nice cobbled streets.
We used the hotel as a base for hiking nearby.
Simple hotel room, no surprises. Clean, tidy. It was the cheapest deal for a one night stay on a cycling tour.
Fair quality of bed. no smells no noise.
Staff let us park bikes in their garage, that was nice.
A very good and clean hotel. Comfortable. Friendly staff. Great location - 5-7 minutes to the railway station (so it's a good place to stay for a day-trip to Chamonix). Liked the breakfast.
Breakfast was rich and very good, The view from the dining room was great and we liked the concept of the hotel that provides occupation for people with special needs.
The room was clean and quiet. The hotel is very close to the Giadda Sculpture Garden, which makes a stop in Martigny worth it. The staff were friendly.
