Very nice, small village next to a beach and sufficiently...
Very nice, small village next to a beach and sufficiently uncrowded to make it feel quiet and off the tourist track for the Costa Brava. Conveniently on the train line and food and drink not over priced. Some very nice, challenging walks with spectacular views of the Catalan and French coasts and a history that raises it above your average beach town. Be aware that there is only one supermarket in the town and it closes at 7 most nights.KevinSpain

Although hotel was only 1 star, it was very comfortable and shutters on window kept room to a moderate temperature so you could sleep. Breakfast was good.
