Breaking our car journey from Alicante to Santander ferry this hotel fulfilled our need for a restful overnight stop. The hotel is ideal for a stop-over being within easy reach of the motorway. The room was comfortable, there is good sized bar area and dining room (for dinner/breakfast). As an added attraction, the local village is remarkably pristine, and suitable for an evening stroll. The old village square has just a few cafes/bars. Curiously many of the older houses have had a secondary brick outer leaf added (presumably for increased insulation) but with original historical windows and doors still visible behind the new facade.

In our opinion, it was the best location in town-directly across from the cathedral. Our room was very spacious with a cathedral view! Clean, comfortable, and worth the price! Staff was exceptionally professional and friendly.
