    I love walking, hiking, scrambling.

I love walking, hiking, scrambling. Mountains are not for me yet(with health problems),but walking, visiting castles, town, bookshops, art galleries, crystalshops, independent coffee, vinyl shops are just for us. We also make trip to Black Mountains area and I saw wild horses first time in my life! Made me happy and smiling. Glasbury have amazing -clean and cosy B&B -The Haro Inn-with local owners, home food, and divine puddings! Great walks along River Wye -you can walk to Hay on Wye and far far if you want . In warmer season kayaking and canoeing.

I never went to Glasbury as The River Cafe no longer...

I never went to Glasbury as The River Cafe no longer operates snd although my payment was taken, but my booking was.never made. Do not book this place on Booking.com as it does not exist any more. I am waiting for my refund. I am so disappointed with Booking.com as they don’t listen when I tell them that The River cafe does not operate any more. I know this because the former owner contacted me when they got my booking through Booking.com.

Hay in Wye is beautiful but definitely a different hotel . Stay somewhere else . For the first time ever I have to say was the most disappointing stay . I liked other places near and wished I booked somewhere else. Still don’t understand how this place has such good reviews .
