I think this was one my best stays in Greek islands! I found the room very comfortable, modern bathroom and the mattress was good too.
I liked the owner too and her friendliness. Was able to have a shower before departure and keep the room a bit later.
Also there is a nice beach just 100 meters away and all the necessary services on the other side.

Livadi is the sort of place you see in films (Mama Mia,...
Livadi is the sort of place you see in films (Mama Mia, Shirley Valentine) but don’t expect ever to visit. We trundled our suitcases off the ferry and along the main (only) street past fishing boats and restaurants with tables on the narrow sandy beach. Yachts bobbed in the bay. Nothing much else was happening. That was the beauty of it. The only regular bus service takes you slowly up the very steep hill from the port to the village of Hora…..or you can try walking up on the old mule track, but only if you’re pretty fit. Hora itself is surely one of the prettiest villages in the Cyclades with stunning views. Beyond Hora, the 2 main attractions of Serifos are its beaches (numerous, beautiful, sandy, warm water) and its hiking trails (spectacular but some better waymarked than others - buy a hiking map in a Livadi supermarket). A beautiful real Greek town. Excellent restaurants, bakeries supermarkets pharmacy. Regular bus up to Chora, a must visit village. Port, ferries so close and convenient. I met helpful, lovely local people. There is some great looking accommodation close to town, beach and garden settings. Don't stay above restaurants as noisy.O'Connell - 10Scored 10

Best place to stay if you don't have or rent a vehicle. Buses run frequently from the port to Chora, and from another small plateia to various beautiful beaches. The beach of Livadion is great, and the lovely beach of Livadakia just around the corner. Lots of great restaurants and cafe/bars in the harbor, but it is also worth walking a little further around the bay to Stamatis restaurant, which serves traditionally Greek food excellently prepared. Their fish soup was the best I've had.

Stay in Livadion for a choice of bars and restaurants. There are 2 very large beaches one right in the town and the other a very short walk. Even the spectacular beaches of Agios Sostis and Lia Beach are only about 35 minutes walk away. Take the bus (1.8 Euros) up to the Chora and then take the spectacular walk (wide path with steps) back.

To get to Astra you need transportation mean, car or motorbike. The room was well equiped and have a fantastic view to the sea, the port and the village of Livadi, as also Chora up on the hill. Every morning Dora treated us with a basket for breakfast and the room was cleaned daily. We had a very good time and everything was great. We definetely stay again at our next visit in Serifos.

If you need anything, or you need advice or help, he is always available. They were not serving breakfast during Covid, but Bobis has made his kitchen facilities available to guests, who can make their own coffee, and enjoy their breakfast on the patio facing the water. We will always return to the Maistrali when we visit Serifos.

It is in the perfect location. It is near the beautiful beach and waters of Lavadakia, with a beautiful view of both. It is a short walk to the beach. A market, restaurants, cafes and bars are also right there. We are so glad we stayed there, and would again without hesitation.
