There is no breakfast so one can explore all the options in San Sebastian. Inside the hotel is very modern and nice, outside of the building doesn't match this impression.

Staðsett í franskri byggingu frá 19. öld, fallegt hótelið er staðsett við sjávarbakka Ondarreta-strandar. Boðið er upp á mötuneyti og fallegt útsýni yfir La Concha Bay. What an amazing experience! I fell in love with this hotel. It is housed in a small and pretty building located among beautiful villas just in front of the beach. Every little detail is well thought out, with vintage decor and furniture, small items with a history, like an old-style telephone on the reception desk or a stunning trifold vanity mirror in the room. Super comfortable and spacious shower and they even have one of these fancy Japanese hi-tech toilets :D The staff were the friendliest people I've ever met in the hotels. They let me check in early and when my safe box didn't work, they even let me move to another room with a working safe box, which also happened to have a sea view, what a treat :) The location is good, close to Mount Igeldo, with lots of high-rated cafes and restaurants nearby, and a very pleasant walk along the beach to reach the old town. Very safe as well. They even provide you with a free of charge umbrella, which was super handy as it rained a lot during my stay. I would give this hotel 11 out of 10 stars if it was possible. It suffice to say that this hotel is one of the reasons why I'm planning to return to San Sebastian soon :)

Set on San Sebastián's Ondarreta Beach, Hotel Ezeizal is the ideal base for doing some sightseeing in this beautiful Basque city. It features a restaurant, café, on-site parking and free Wi-Fi. The ladies at reception were excellent! kind, helpful, and efficient.

Hotel Avenida is located on Mount Igueldo overlooking San Sebastián. There is a swimming pool in the hotel´s garden and free access to the fitness centre. comfortable hotel with nice view, great breakfast, nice personnel

Barceló Costa Vasca is 450 metres from San Sebastián’s Ondarreta Beach, next to Miramar Palace and Gardens. Rooms at the Costa Vasca are bright and minimalist, with lots of natural light. Wonderful staff, Big beds, clean and comfortable sheets. Breakfast wonderful, but I remember 6 years ago it was even better.

Located 200 metres from the beach in Ondarreta, this hotel offers stylish, exterior rooms with air conditioning, free WiFi and satellite TV. Those on the 4th floor also have a sun terrace. Great location, comfy beds and friendly staff. And the dog was more than welcome

Hotel Antik San Sebastian is located in San Sebastián’s Ondarreta district, 4 minutes’ drive from La Concha Bay. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. It was modern and I liked the fact the parking garage was convenient.

Located just 250 metres from Ondarreta Beach, Sercotel Codina offers modern air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi. All the rooms come with a minibar, flat-screen satellite TV and private bathroom. The hotel is nicely located not too far from the beach and very close to the large conference center (Palacio Miramar). The area of the city is more peaceful then old town, but old town is accessible by nice walk at seaside or by bus. The staff of the hotel is helpful and friendly. During my 2 weeks stay I was living in three rooms: single (3rd flor), double (3rd flor) and double superior (7th flor). The last of them was most expensive but certainly worth the money, with large terrace, beautiful view on the sea and the city. Me and my wife were enjoying stay there. The double room was OK, but nothing particular. Clean and correct. The single room at 3rd flor was suffering problems with ventilation and bad smell was coming from the toilet. Anyhow, the hotel was nice and I would recommend it.
