Exceptional location, almost in the middle of the forest (search on Google maps and not classical GPS which lead you elsewhere), Old house transformed to accommodate guests in a farm type rooms looking like around 1900 with lots of green, flowers, trees, animals.

The property is a charming little farm with a variety of farm animals on the outskirts of Bayeaux. The room we stayed in was separated from the main house and looked exactly as represented in the pictures. We were about a 7 min drive from downtown Bayeaux and a 30 minute drive from the majority of WWII sites. For us the location was perfect. Our host was very friendly and answered all of our questions.

The best part of our stay was the helpfulness of our host who came to the rescue when our rental car suffered a flat tire. She assisted in calling roadside assistance, shuffled us to and from the car, and even invited us to sit down for dinner with her family when the restaurants had closed. Truly an EXCEPTIONAL experience.

Breakfast was OK but not as good as the normal continental breakfasts. The location was difficult to find as your map should it on the D77 but it is on the D154, 800m down the road.
