Both the owner and his son-in-law are charming and delivered a perfect dinner meal and breakfast. We learned a lot about the area and the people. Outstanding cleaning and service. Family: mom, dad and 5 year-old kid.

    The location just off the main highway was ideal for travellers. I ate dinner and breakfast and an excellent choice of dishes, a busy lively atmosphere and helpful friendly staff. My room was quiet, very clean and the bed exceptionally comfortable. I will continue to use this hotel in the future when in the area.

    The hostel was conveniently near the A23 for one night en route between southern Spain and the north coast ferry. The bar/ cafeteria was open all day and served a range of snacks and meals. The staff were helpful despite difficulties with language translation. The room was clean but old fashioned.

    I was not expecting a lot from some of the reviews but the place is good value for money and the food is excellent. Meat is cooked on a wood barbecue and very tasty. I found all the staff helpful especially as I can speak a little Spanish. The shop has most of the stuff you need. If cycling through Spain this Hostal is just off the Camino Ojos Negroes.

    A great Spanish hostal. Perfect location on our drive from UK to Almeria. No English spoken which was so refreshing as we could practice our Spanish, however easy to get by if you don’t speak Spanish. Staff could not have been more obliging. Food was great and served 24 hours. Spotlessly clean with a great shop selling pretty much everything next door. Thank you Hostal los Manos we will be back.
