Pension Baja Mar is a lovely, well-situated place to stay & the staff are very nice! The view of the estuary & local shell-fishers was a nice treat at breakfast. Larido, adjacent to Espasante, is a perfect central location to visit the many sights & beaches in the area. Ferrol, Cedeira & Valdoviño, Cabo Ortegal, Cariño, to the west and O Picon, Estaca de Bares, O Barqueiro, Praia San Roman, to Viveiro are all easy and quick destinations. For me, the accommodations were excellent and I will look here first for my next trip. Thanks L. & A.!

The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, and it was handy to have the bar downstairs, although there were also plenty of other bars and eating places in the area. Our room was very clean, a good size and very quiet, despite being in a lively part of this little seaside town. Breakfast was excellent, tasty and plentiful. Really enjoyed the three days we spent here.

There are bars within walking distance as is the beach, Breakfast included freshly squeezed orange juice and was of good quality. The spa bath was a bonus.

Free (and nice) breakfast was included. The hotel has a nice bar/restaurant on the ground floor. We wanted to go surfing in the area and they helped us to get in touch with a local surf school where we could join a lesson the next morning. Parking is possible for free in the streets around the hotel. Would definitely recommend it.
