The hotel was super clean and modern!! I was surprised at how nice the room was. Reminded me of something I would have stayed at in North America. Breakfast options were good and someone was at the front desk 24/7 to assist with any needs. Taking the Cercania into the center of Madrid was super easy and convenient. The hotel was a 6 minute walk to the station.

You are not that far from the subway nor the train station, although it require some walking. The train will drop you at Madrid's heart in 15 min for about €2. There is also a shopping center relatively close. The staff is friendly, everything was clean and for the price it was a good deal. Also they take pets.
