The house is amazing! We spent a week here in March 2024 as two families with kids. First of all, the house is very clean and freshly renovated. Every room has a bathroom, which you would not expect in a village house! It has a big dining room on the first floor and a lounge room on the upper floor, so there is space for kids and adults to spend some time separately, which we found very convenient. The location was chosen to visit San Sebastian, Bilbao, and local nature landmarks, and it fits great to make day trips from the 'base' and return home for dinner (the BBQ area is great too and very clean). Special thanks to Xavier, the host. Every place he advised us was wonderful, including the meat shop of his family in Leitza, a lovely village close to the house.

Great stop on the way south; the owner was super friendly. We only stayed one night but we will definitely return. If you has the chance to walk down to the river for a dip it’s worth it. Nice restaurant across the road which is run I think buy the same family.

Amazing location, amazing atmosphere. Authentic Navarre experience. The family running the Hostal are so friendly and welcoming. Dinner at the restaurant, sitting out on the roadside front balcony with the local families, was so special. The chef BBQed a whole halibut for us, with tomato & tuna salad. Perfect. Try the water from the well, and visit the pelota court across the road.

For us this was a pass-through overnight stay on route to (southern) Spain. Before we used to spend one night in one of the chain hotels in France (Kyriad, Campanille,...) This is far better. One has to drive a little further and it is not immediately along the highway, but the quality is worth the extra mile. The hotel has a good restaurant, friendly staff and above all very comfortable and clean room.

Historic hotel in a quaint mountain town. Loved the scenery and ease of check in. We booked for the purpose of attending the San Fermin festival which was only a short drive away. Would book again!

Breakfast was only adequate. The bed was comfortable but the single (long) pillow was not. A bit noisy but that was to bit expected as the room's balcony (which was a nice touch) was over the street between the two hotel buildings.
