Staying at the Casa Rosalia in Lobios is one of my best memories of walking the Caminho da Geira e Arrieiros. My room was cozy, clean, and well-furnished. The best part was meeting Alber, the owner. Alber is a superb host. He spoke to me about Galicia, his family, the history of the home, and Galician cooking. I felt like I was talking to an old friend. He is a trained cook and prepared an outstanding bacalao with potatoes and homemade bread. I wish I could have that again! Alber gave me some more homemade bread for the long walk the next day. I definitely recommend the Casa Rosalia in Lobios for an authentic Galician experience!

50 m far from the public bath, and 20 m from the river. Very nice comfortable and quiet. Simple good breakfast, pretty enough. The heating is powerful enough to keep the room warm. Fresh air, no annoying noise.

We couldn’t recommend this enough and would love to return. Pepe the host is extremely attentive and helpful and cooked us a delicious meal alongside local wine, would highly recommend this option if he offers to prepare food for you.
