Lovely hosts that really care about their guests. They offer breakfast and a laundry service. I enjoyed staying in my spotless room with a comfy bed. I can warmly recommend this pension in the former school. It’s right on the Camino and has an excellent restaurant a few steps away that served the best meal I have eaten on the Camino! This place is a dream! The cottage is much nicer than the pictures suggest and it was the perfect location for our explorations in the Os Ancares. We had some rain, and even one day of snow, but the cottage was a comfortable, cozy place to wait out the weather. Teresa is extremely kind and generous; she left us fresh local cheese, a loaf of bread, wine, and fruit. The house was very clean, well-equipped, well-functioning, and not fussy. Our only regret was that it wasn't warm enough to sit outside on the patio--the view of the mountains and fields is stunning.

My room had a great balcony with a couple simple plastic chairs to sit on. A real luxury in this price range. A decent hotel located on the edge of town, With a pleasant restaurant and decent food.

The owners were very welcoming and friendly. They tried to meet our every need. When it started to rain on our clothes hanging on the clothes line, they strung a rope on the covered porch for us to use. Dinner was delicious and they offered extras - homemade soup and a yummy dessert.
