Boasting a balcony with sea views, a private beach area and a garden, Nini's Beach Bungalows can be found in Bira, close to Bara Beach and 90 metres from Tanjung Bira Beach. Everything was amazing. The food, the vibe, the scenery. Kudos to Nini and her staff who really put their heart and soul into it, and it shows. Perfect in every way. So chill. Thank you!

Built in traditional Torajan style, Rura Raya Homestay is situated in Rantepao. The rooms here offers modern comforts and while maintaining the traditional decor. We like the nice bedroom with good view. Manaek is a great personne. Her food is fantastic very tasty. She is very kind and smiling. We recommand her homestay.

Offering an accommodation with a dive centre, Happy Gecko Dive Resort is located on Bunaken Island in North Sulawesi, just steps from the island’s world-famous beaches and diving sites. The entire team from the owners to the support staff were unfailingly friendly, helpful and good-humoured. The food was simple but really delicious. The diving trips were well organised and we were well looked after by the whole crew. All in all, a really lovely place.

Guesthouse Guesthouse The 4 Fish is located in Tongkaina. Just 18 km from Manado and a 10-minute walk from a dive centre. The view from the terrace, the hospitality from Lea and her lovely attentive team, the chilled atmosphere, the nice pool.

Located in Bunaken, 3WILL Bunaken Dive Resort is only a short distance from beautiful snorkelling and diving spots. It boasts a diving centre, massage services and a tour desk. I loved everything. The staff was incredibly attentive for the service and they took so good care of us. Food, views, diving and couple of cold ones was everything that we needed. I will recommend this to my friends and I sure hope to get to come back. Special thanks to Connor who was my nitrox course instructor and the main all around guy taking care of all the things. Mustafa, thank you for taking those amazing underwater pictures for us, it made our diving experiences even better. Milos, I could listen to your stories for days, as I did. He amazed me with his knowledge and what ever you needed he would just shrug his shoulders and say 'okey, we can do that'. Also I wanna thank the dive masters, Elly, Jo and Ronal funny guys with the knowledge and skills to find interesting stuff under the surface. Awesome stay in Bunaken!

Located right on Bara Beach in Bira, Cosmos Bungalows offers a beautifully simple beachfront accommodation where each bungalow has sea view. Free on-site parking space for guests who drive. Amazing view and clean place. The staff was so nice and add some papaya to our breakfast and give me some bananas for a snack. They organise a nice boat for us for the day and we had a great time

Located on Bunaken Island along the Pangalisan Beach, Cakalang Resort offers diving and snorkeling opportunities on-site. It has a restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. We had a great time at cakalang with Fernando and his wife being extremely accomodating. Debbie the receptionist/cook was amazing and made the best food we have had in Indonesia. Great diving experience with the team here also. Can’t wait to return some time soon!

Set on a mountain with views of natural scenery, Gardenia Country Inn is a 10-minute drive from Tomohon Traditional Market. The food was excellent and the gardens are spectacular

Located 650 metres above sea level, Highland Resort and Spa enjoys fresh and cool mountain climates with views of the famous Mount Lakon. If you are ready for a breath of fresh, cool(er) air, then be ready for Highland Resort and Nature Tours in Tomohon. This delightful collection of villas is set at an elevation of 650 meters (2132 feet). Beautiful landscaping and lovely accommodations. We slept very comfortably in our room - even without an aircon unit! The staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. They helped to arrange drivers and tours during our stay. We went to the crater edge of Gunung Lokon Volcano and later went to Tekaan Telu Waterfall. Along the way, we were greeted by friendly and curious locals. Be sure to learn a few basic greetings in Bahasa Indonesia and you may just find yourself a welcome guest anywhere you go! We arranged our own bird guide and had an excellent birdwatching tour. We were able to see a number of species that were high on our list, including the Scaley-breasted Kingfisher & the Superb Fruit Dove! Due to Paskah (Easter), we may not have experienced the food the way the lodge intended. Meals had to be ordered from town and not all options were available. Despite that, the staff was helpful in ensuring our stay was pleasant. We loved our stay at Highland Resort and hope we have a chance to come back!
