Excellent friendly helpful staff. Restaurant very flexible. We arrived late at 10.30 pm having had a car breakdown en route. The restaurant was still open so we had a good meal. We received a free upgrade to our room. Simple air conditioning which actually worked. Lively bar with good simple food. Very central.

The location was amazing with 2 bedrooms with sea views right onto the main beach! Sergio was so kind, welcoming and knowledgeable of Zarautz and it's neighbouring towns and also gave us great tips for our road trip through Basque country. We would have stayed longer and definitely will return again.

After winding up through the beautiful town of Getaria and into the surrounding vineyards, you find yourself at Golindo Goikoa. The house is absolutely gorgeous and in a truly idyllic location, with views over the town and over the coast. It’s easy to get to by car and other towns are easily accessible, like Zarautz. It’s also only a 10-15 minute walk down into the centre of Getaria from the house and very easy to catch public transport to the neighbouring towns from there. Juanjo and his family are incredible hosts - wonderfully helpful and full of interesting information about the region and things to do in the surrounds. It’s amazing to have the local knowledge from them when you arrive to help you figure out what you’d like to do during your stay. We absolutely fell in love with this place and would highly recommend it. Eskerrikasko!
