The was probably the best hostel I stayed at on my Camino. Laurel was very accommodating and runs a beautiful place. The grounds are large and there was a lot of space to hang laundry

Excellent location, in a beautiful old-old-old house (St. Ignatius lived there!). Now this is the type of hostel room that backpackers/pilgrims look for e.g. it's a shared bathroom. The room is small and basic, but comfortable (the bed was excellent). There's no elevator and our room was up several flights of stairs - and we are not pilgrims - we had luggage. But, if you are aware of all this, it's a great place. And the free parking in front is a big bonus. Breakfast places down the street open early.
