The accomodation was perfect. Clean and spacious rooms, well equipped. Lovely atmosphere of historic monastery. Very friendly and welcoming host. Breakfast was tasty with variety of food. I would definetly stay here again.

Situated in Sankt Lorenzen im Mürztal, 9.4 km from Pogusch, Roanwirt features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The rooms are very nicely prepared - we had a two-story room with a spacious bathroom incl whirlpool. Eating at the Roanwirt is also really nice (typical Austrian cuisine). The sauna area is not the biggest, but it was never crowded. The staff are tremendously forthcoming and friendly. In the area, you can hike up to Pogusch and have amazing views of the mountains.

Set in Thörl, 16 km from Hochschwab, Landhotel Restaurant Hubinger offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Etmissl was a lovely small village to stay in. The people there were all very friendly. We got lucky and stumbled upon a Maypole celebration that was incredible to watch. The meals in the restaurant were spectacular (e.g. wild garlic ravioli with morel mushrooms in a cream sauce or the lake trout on a bed of stinging nettle risotto). We ate there twice in two days. And one of the owners made a point of coming over to us during the Maypole celebration to explain what the tradition was all about for them.

Located in Stanz Im Murztal, 19 km from Pogusch, Gasthof Oberer Gesslbauer provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The location was beautiful. The owners were lovely and really made you welcome and the breakfast and evening meals were great.

Set in Sankt Kathrein am Hauenstein, 41 km from Pogusch, Gasthof zur Post offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Staff knew English which is an exception in Austria, both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

Located in Mitterdorf im Mürztal, within 24 km of Pogusch and 24 km of Hochschwab, Landgasthof zur Post provides accommodation with a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free... Everything was beautiful! Although the breakfast should also include eggs! But that is the only thing I can think of - remarkable place, landscape and hospitality.

Wonderful place to stay in Styria, lovely hotel - very helpful staff, great service, Nespresso coffee in the room, superb views, everything was absolutely stunning!
