Clean and spacious room and bathroom. Good to be able to have food or snacks in the bar at any time. Rich selection for breakfast. Nice and helpful staff.

Situated by Lake Myvatn, this hotel offers WiFi . All rooms feature a TV and private bathroom. Skútustaðagígar natural site is 2 minutes’ walk away. This was the best hotel we stayed in Iceland. The free amenities (Sauna, Hot tub, pool billiard, bathrobe, flip flops, etc.) and the free breakfast were just great. The room was modern and spacious. The northern lights wake up call is a wonderful free service (we didn't have any luck though). The location is incredible across from a volcano walking trail. Seriously, we were so excited when we saw what the hotel offers for such little money (in March). Will definitely stay here again when I return. Thank you!

Birkilauf i Myvatn ligger inom 2,6 km från Myvatns naturbad och har ett antal bekvämligheter, inklusive utsikt över sjön och bergen. It is amazingly located place! Beautiful inside. Very nice people run this place! I hope to be back soon 🙂

Slow Travel Mývatn - Þúfa - Private Homestay ligger i Mývatn i Norra Island och har en balkong och utsikt över bergen. Everything about this homestay was amazing, the location ,bird sanctuary, amazing colours of the plants all around the house, Beautifully decorated inside and out, you could not but love staying in this beautiful homestay, We had beautiful freshly baked bread waiting when we arrived, This is a must stay if you are visiting Myvatn, There was 4 of us staying and we all loved loved it, Lovely balcony.

Myvo The Studio apartment at Geiteyjarströnd 4 erbjuder en trädgård och utsikt över trädgården och ligger i Reykjahlíð, 8,9 km från Naturbadet Mývatn och 48 km från Goðafoss. Such a lovely cosy apartment with windows all round and overlooking Lake Myvatn. It was the perfect place to relax and hope to see the Northern Lights from the big balcony outside. The place was thoughtfully designed as open plan with nice touches such as candles and rugs. The underfloor heating was very efficient and plenty of kitchenware plus oven, stovetop, microwave, washing machine etc. We had looked at slightly cheaper options nearby but I think it was worth paying a little extra for this one. Would highly recommend!
