Featuring an outdoor pool, Torre Santamaria offers accommodation in Mattinata, an 8-minute walk from the beach. Complimentary WiFi is provided throughout the property. Lovely stay in lush and green environment, 300m to the beach, the resort is beautiful and well kept. The design is modern, but surroundings are very Italian- olive trees, lemon trees, etc. The pool zone is beautiful, breakfast buffet very nice, staff very friendly- they accommodated us with our dogs, that felt welcome. Overall, we think it is hidden gem of Gargano! (Having in mind the price/ quality ratio). If You want both the beach and pool and have a nice glass of wine by the pool, look no more. We loved it and highly recommend it.

The hotel is exceptionally clean and modern. The staff was accommodating and friendly, and has a great location in a quiet area and it’s just Minutes to the center. The breakfast was unbelievable. We would stay here again, and recommended very highly.

Hotel in San Menaio
Villa Maria is an elegant Art Nouveau building set in a green area of San Menaio, 250 metres from the beach, and 500 metres from the train station. Superb and luxurious comfort in a clean and well appointed hotel. A welcome night of sprawling rest after a day's travel and a single-bed the night before. In mid October San Menaio is largely closed but Villa Maria, a stately pink mansion tucked away quietly in its luscious green garden surrounded by pines, keeps going to November. It is just 5 minutes walk to a sensational sandy beach, with a crossing over the inevitable railway line right below, so no need to detour for miles as can happen. The beach was empty apart from one fisherman and handful of walkers, and I had a blissful 4pm swim in 24 degree sunshine. Villa Maria also has a VERY good restaurant (the squid was superb, as were the maccheroncini) which rightly attracted many non-residents. Spacious car park, which is a small but appreciable asset, when one is in a big car in Italy. All at a bargain price, which may have been because I was out of season but was the best value in all of Italy so far. And i had breakfast with a fox. A great discovery and highly recommend.

Location was perfect, close to the beach and old town Vieste, a couple minutes walking distance to both. Staff was very nice and helpful, especially Angela. She went out of her way to help us with laundry, and setting up a spot on the beach with lounge chairs and an umbrella before the beach club was officially open. Breakfast was great, so many different items to choose from.

Beautiful clean swimming pool, you can also get snacks and drinks from the bar by the pool. The host was super friendly and gave us some laundry keys straight away. Delicious breakfast. Seaside is beautiful and transparent and facility welle equipped, price is aside so you'll need to book and also recommend reserving a table for lunch.
