This hotel was a delightful surprise, extremely well located, great views, nice short walk into town for coffee or meals. Our ground-level room had a beautiful glass door opening onto a lawn that was unexpected. Nice bed & comfort level all around. Location well situated for turning in rental car & catching the ferry. Honestly, that was the only reason we stayed at this hotel and Picton, but wished we had booked more days. Very very pleasant! Feel this hotel is a cut above all the other choices in the area!

Located in the heart of Picton, this boutique hotel offers luxury accommodations with free Wi-Fi and free continental breakfast. All suites include a plasma-screen TV and an iPod docking station. This is a very small hotel (only 3 rooms) which only adds to its charm. Its location in the centre of Picton is an additional benefit as it is only a couple of minutes' walk from shops and nearby facilities. The old world style of decor ,the large rooms which are spotless and supremely comfortable has to be experienced. The restaurant is closed for evening meals , but the welcome touch of a wine and cheese plate is a unique touch. Breakfast is offered and sets you up for the day ahead. I would love to stay here again.

We had a wonderful experience at this place. Every staff member we encountered were delightful and eager to help. The lady at the reception was the nicest staff I have every encountered at a hotel. Thank you so much. You went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable, and you looked after us so well even after we've checked out. Please Chateau Marlborough give this staff awards ! The room was spacious and clean and the bed was super comfy. We will always stay at this location when traveling to or through.
The town is actually a bit drab; the Marlborough area is all about the wine (sauvignon blanc) and tasting visits (recommended). Rather than an apartment, we stayed at the Hotel D’Urville in the town centre which was OK; compact room, not modern, a little tired. Maybe would have been better to find accommodation on a vineyard but not many have restaurants on site which, given the more remote locations, is preferable. Service at the hotel was friendly and helpful. VFM at $245 a bit steep. Rating 7/10.
Blenheim
Everything was wonderful- the setting amid vineyards and lovely gardens, the peaceful location, our cute cottage, lawn tennis, pool and hot tub, and close to many of Marlborough’s fine vineyards. Breakfast was simple but delicious and with fresh citrus from their own trees and eggs from the chickens. Natasha and Jonathan were friendly and helpful. It was so wonderful we extended our stay. Best accommodations we’ve had in our 6 weeks of travel in New Zealand. Thank you Natasha and Jonathan!
Blenheim
This model was overally very good. I have visited Blenheim so many times and stayed many difference places. But I would say people in this motel were the best. This motel is facing chateau Marlborough and Scenic hotel each other. Even this is a motel, I would say there are not much difference between hotel and this motel. Room was very clean. And location is also very nice.
Picton
Easy access. Secure garage- perfect for leaving our precious bikes on a bike rack and knowing they were out of sight from scallywags with nefarious intent! The apartment was beautiful and well equipped. The location is superb with a wonderful view over the marina and into the Sounds. Would be a great place to chill out over summer with a bottle or two of Marlborough wine.
Blenheim
spacious apartment with an amazing view from the bed. we set our alarms early to watch the sunrise and it was stunning. very comfortable bed and all facilities as described. continental style breakfast was enjoyed on the private terrace each morning. access to the beach from the garden and east access to Picton and the Marlborough Sounds thanks for a relaxing stay
Vicki and her partner were exceptional hosts. We had a delayed ferry crossing and didn't arrive until after 9:30 pm, she was there to meet us, talked thru the apartment facilities and was fantastic. Each day we were greeted with a smile, engaging conversation and genuine interest in sharing their knowledge of the Marlborough region with us.
Picton
We really enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable, quiet apartment right in the centre of town, close to bars, cafes and restaurants. Also just a short walk to the wharf from where cruises and water taxis to Marlborough Sound leave and also close to the Inter-Islander ferry terminal.
Blenheim
Centrally located and well equipped apartment, convenient for visits to the Marlborough wineries and less than 30 minutes drive to the Picton- Wellington ferry. Very friendly manager who provided excellent support . Would definitely stay their again
Renwick

stunning views. immaculate and luxurious property. the staff were outstanding.
Outstanding view of the harbour from the balcony. As well as that the accommodation was comfortable, with very fast wifi and convenient parking.
Warm welcome, was shown around premises and all amenities pointed out. Great location.
Perfect for the night before the ferry and the one just after. Centre of town. Ideal.
i stay here every time I visit my children, its a great place to stay...the staff are great to deal with. i highly recommend this place
We loved everything about our stay at Lochmara Lodge. We stayed for two nights with our family and It was a little bit of a splurge, but did not disappoint! The location was stunning, the fact that you got there by water taxi made it remote and uncrowded, and there were plenty of things to do (hike, paddleboard, kayak). Also, the food was delicious and the staff was accommodating and helpful.
clean, spacious, delightful cabin.
Loved the 60's-70's music piped into the washrooms
