Shawn the owner's reception upon our arrival warmed our hearts. At the end of our chat he gave us excellent recommendations for sightseeing in Acadia National Park and local dining. When we realized we could use a cot for my daughter, he provided us one with a nominal fee. His staff delivered ice to us when the ice machine was not yet on (we learned it was the first day of the hotel opening in the year). This was one of the best travel lodging experiences we have had thus far.

Excellent location! Clean, quiet, comfy room. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Easy walk to the main tourist strips of Bar Harbor(Main, Cottage, and West streets), grocery store. But also very easy to get to Acadia National Park without having to drive through traffic. This is a no-frills motel, so see the next section for a list of amenities this hotel does not have.

The room is super clean and looks exactly like the pictures. The bathroom was well stocked, and room service was provided everyday. The view of the Atlantic Ocean is beautiful, and the breakfast was up to expectations. The walls were thick I believe, and the hotel is 10 minutes away from Acadia National Park as well as downtown Bar Harbor (for food/cute stores).

We were happy with everything about the Acadia Inn. Breakfast was great. Our main reason for visiting Bar Harbor was to hike at Acadia National Park and the hotel is very close to the park entrance. Our room was cleaned every day.

The room was very clean and quiet. The pool was clean and well kept. The hotel was located just outside Acadia National Park and close to Bar Harbor.

Large apartment with all kitchen appliances. Very bright and located at a strategic spot to explore Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor city.

The location of the hotel in terms of Downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park could not have been better. 5 min drive to both.

Very cosy room with everything we needed. Even without direct view to the bay we enjoyed sitting on the balcony. We loved the gorgeous pool and hot tub and we enjoyed an awesome breakfast with an amazing view to the sea. It was easy to walk to downtown. Parking lot was directly in front of the room.

Quaint hotel with excellent facilities. Beautiful , clean and spacious room. We enjoyed it immensely.

The entire Inn was spotless! Housekeeping did a wonderful job at keeping not just our room but the whole Inn in pristine condition. There was always hot coffee and snacks in the lobby which was definitely appreciated! All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. Also, I loved how the Inn was decorated for Christmas!

We got stranded a 1/2 mile down the road because of a bad tire as we were traveling through. The tire wasn't available that day. The manager was very thoughtful and when our tire didn't come in until the next day @ 1:30 they didn't charge us for the extra hours past check out time. We REALLY appreciated that! And it was so nice to have a lovely front porch with rockers to relax, an accommodating dining area where we could get snacks, coffee and drinks. We met many guests who have been coming there for ten years or more and that tells you a lot! The staff is AMAZING! Helpful and clean the rooms excellent.

Wow, this hotel is lovely. On the main street of Bar Harbor, but without the noise and traffic. Parking was excellent right behind the hotel. The room was a little strange in its location, but it afforded a lovely decking area and had all the amenities. The location makes it easy to get into and out of town, while still only being a short walk from the main part of town and the waterfront. Would definetly stay here again.
