Oudtshoornist 14 km kaugusel asuv De Opstal Country Lodge pakub majutust restaureeritud taluhoones, mis ehitati algselt 1860. aastal. As soon as you drive into the De Opstal property you sense this is a different kind of place. The owners don’t just DO hospitality as a means to an end; they ARE hospitality embodied. It feels like it’s their life’s mission. De Opstal’s old charm accommodations are surrounded by magnificent flower gardens, fruit trees, and fields that are not over-manicured, rather reflective of the owners’ true love of nature and deep desire to create an environment for their guests that engages all their senses. The only downside was having to leave this slice of paradise.

Hotell Karoo Art asub Barrydales, 35 km kaugusel Grootvadersboschi looduskaitsealast. Kohapeal on välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, aed ja terrass. We loved the quirkiness of the hotel that was its real charm. The art on the walls and all the decor had real charm and character. There is a proper bar area where on one evening they had a very good pianist playing. You definitely get the feeling that the hotel is something of a hub for the village and community and a lot of activity centres around it. Some of the rooms are bigger and nicer than others, and we were able to change ours to a nicer more spacious one. Staff were very accommodating and helpful and we’re able to advise and arrange lots for us to do- on that don’t miss a dip in the local fresh water river - a wonderful start to our day! Breakfast was really delicious with lots of variety. Garden and pool area was very pretty and a lovely place to relax as well.

Queen's Hotel on koloniaalstiilis mittesuitsetajatele mõeldud hotell Oudtshoorni südames. Hotellis on antiikmööbliga sisustatud toad. Basseiniga ümbritsetud sisehoovis on privaatne bassein. The property is buzzing with history and the staff was really friendly. I will say that the hotel has a bit of a spooky vibe, but I think the power outage due to load shedding may have contributed to the vibe. we booked on a whim and were so happy to find this gem. It was an experience of its own, but close to Cango caves and everything in Outdshoorn.

Hotell De Rust asub De Rustis, Oudtshoorni golfiväljakust 34 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on ühine puhkeruum, tasuta eraparkla, restoran ja baar. This place is a step back in time and is amazing. The owners are the some of the nicest people you can ever hope to meet. I arrived on a Sunday during a motorcycle trip through Cape and had managed to get a puncture. It didnt take long for the owner to have the bike in their own workshop wheel off and on it way to being repaired. The hotel is actively involved in the motorcycle scene in the area was soon introduced to other who came to chat Motorcycle travel. What an awesome evening and a great sleep.

Hotell Schulteheim asub Uniondale kesklinnas ajaloolise Hollandi reformitud kiriku vastas, mille autor oli 1884. aastal kuulus Carl Otto Hager. The hotel isn't much out of ordinary, but the hospitality & helpfulness of manager Regi, made our short stay in Uniondale memorable and pleasant. The breakfast was great as well.
