The community was quiet, the kitchen was fully equipped, the bathroom nice and had a wonderful hot shower with high pressure, and the beds were SO comfy and had a much-needed heated pad. We had a car so it was a 4-minute drive to Four Square grocery (where you can walk to the Tekapo waterfront), but we also walked, and it took about 20-25 minutes, so depending on what you'd prefer, it's still reasonably close for those without a car. One thing to note, but not necessarily a bad thing, they do have a washer, but only a drying rack. This didn't bother me, but just wanted to let others know. Overall the stay was very cozy and I would absolutely come back here.

The location and parking are very convenient. The apartment space and four rooms are very suitable for us. All the things in the kitchen are enough for us. Besides, the shower is very comfortable. We enjoy to stay here very much.

Clean, fully stocked, warm and super comfortable. Easy access and excellent communication. Cafe on the corner too which is great!

Situated in Lake Tekapo in the Canterbury region, Alpine Lodges features a patio. The property has mountain and lake views, and is 46 km from Mt. Dobson. The holiday home features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Everything was good. The lodge was very clean and nice. It was fun to do a farm tour and pet and feed the animals and the jacuzzi under the stars was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay.
