We live close to the coast of Almeria and a few times a year we head inland for a weekend to stay in a cave, just for a change. From the minute we made our booking Chris was in contact with directions and asking what way we would like the bedroom setup, we guessed we were on to a winner with his efficiency and we were correct. This is the best setup cave we have ever stayed in, it has everything including an Electric KETTLE. The complex is made up of five caves facing on to an enclosed courtyard with a barbecue and a pizza oven, yes you are reading correctly. The cave was super clean, the bed was super super comfortable, the shower was a big walk in one with piping hot water and great pressure. Chris is a very friendly host and I have to say this is the Best Cave Complex we ever stayed in. Its location is a very short walk from Restaurant Cuevas Alkadima and Restaurante El Maño II and a few minutes drive from the town center and Fuencaliente de Huéscar which is so refreshing for a swim.
