This albergue was neat and clean with good facilities for pilgrims. There were not too many customers that night so my friend and I had a 2 bunk bed space to ourselves. The beds were comfortable and the showers in the shared bath were clean and hot.

Absolutely loved this property. After walking all day in the rain, our hostess, Fabiola, had everything ready for us right down to fresh flowers in vases to fresh lemons, tea and coffee. She truly has thought of everything. We were also able to do our soaked laundry, free of charge, and she had all supplies needed. The yard was peaceful and serene and best of all was meeting Carmen, a kind caring woman,

The visitors center was a pleasant experience. We were given a map of the town and the top sites to see if you had the time. We walked through their main park and had hoped to walk to the beach that was one of their top attractions. Beautiful plants and birds nested in the marsh areas, and even though we didn't walk far enough to get to the beach we loved the nature that was there at the inlet.

The only thing that disappointed me in Redondela, was a nearby restaurant "Casa Chano Restaurante". My son and I were very hungry and we were hoping for a "Pilgrim Menu". We walked in this restaurant and we were bowled over by the impeccable service. The lady even brought us complimentary empanadas. It seemed that two of the waiters spoke English. I was going for a fish dish that was under 15 Euros and my son had calamari that was reasonable. Well, they were out of the fish, so I pointed to a meat item. The large portion for a group is 35 Euro. The waiter said that I could have an individual portion for 12.50 euro. I was fine with that. We each had a beer and a flan for a dessert. I wanted to pay the bill so I gave my credit card and I was so pleased with the service that I gave $15 American dollars for a tip. One of the waiters who spoke English ran my card and it was not until I got back to my room that I had noticed that the bill was for 58 Euros. I was charged 35 Euros for the meat dish. I was flabbergasted as we were on a limited budget. I really felt it was only one person there because everyone else was exceptional. However, it did leave a sour taste.

the history of the building. the caretakers were lovely.
The layout was odd and I think with a little renovation/reallocation of resources this could be a better place to stay. Many guestrooms and one bathroom, no sink in the breakfast area etc.

The hosts were absolutely fantastic and the house has a lot of charm. The place is shiny and it is fully equipped with everything one could possibly need for a 1 day-3/4 weeks stay. Location is right at the heart of the historical centre. Host also shared useful tips to eat and drink nearby.
Gracias!

The woman at the information bureau was excellent- nicest person we have met so far, very kind. Made phone calls to help us out because we can’t speak Spanish and she was happy to find out for us. Interesting town.
Beautiful old restored Galician stone house. Wonderful and generous owner who couldn’t have been kinder. Great facilities for making a cup of tea or coffee. Right on the Camino path (also accessible by car). Food options totally fine despite distance from town. Peaceful and beautiful. Best place we have stayed on the Camino - would love to return .
Great little hotel in middle of old town right on Camino trail, we had the downstairs room which was a great size. The hotel has been delightfully renovated.
Great to have free tea/coffee/cookies available at no extra charge and hotel has washing machine and dryer which was much appreciated after 9days of hiking and hand washing only!
I really love the Avoa Regina albergue. It is my second visit to them (I was there last year) and I hope to visit again next year. It’s a really clean hostel with all the attention to details pilgrims on the Camino need. An extra bonus - it is the last hostel in Redondela so there’s less walking the next day!
Service is good. Checkin is in the Bar. They walk with you & show your room. Big compound. Rooms are ok. Bed is fine. A great place to stay, if you want to move away from Redondela.
Dinner in the bar is simply yummy. Everything is freshly home-cooked.
I have stayed here 3x with my camino groups.
Location was great. Beach on the otherwise of the road. Great dinner place less than 5 minute walk from Hotel. I was overwhelmed by the lovely building and grounds. Terrific breakfast served in the garden..Next day upon leaving I had to return to ask for assistance . Theresa step right in to help me.
A very reasonably priced apartment close to shops, supermarkets and restaurants. The apartment was very well equipped and lots of goodies left by Maria which was very thoughtful. There was everything you would need to make it home from home. A far better stay than in an impersonal hotel.
Our family of three adults stayed in this comfortable and clean apartment in Redondela. It's conveniently located practically on the path of the Camino, and right in the town centre of Redondela where we can visit its the historic fort and had multiple choices of restaurants and shops.
A basic but good hotel with great views.
Although the restaurant only opened at 8:30 p.m. when we visited, good home cooking was served to us directly from the kitchen an hour beforehand. Thanks again for this exception, we were very hungry and the staff seemed to take pity on us.
Angel and his wife Isabella were totally the best hosts! They treated us to homemade tortillas and local beers after a long trek from Vigo. Their friendliness and hospitality extended beyond our stay when the next morning he dropped us at our starting point again!
It was a delight to stay in a place that is clean, very comfortable and well-cared for. The owners responded promptly to all communications and welcomed us on arrival. Perfectly situated to explore Redondela with good eating places nearby.
A nice apartment, clean and comfortable, in the center of Redondela. The owner who met us there was very sweet provides homemade cake, water, juice and other supplies. The place was a treat after a day of walking the Camino.
Was a little off the camino path for us but the hotel was awesome! staff helpful, friendly, food was great, room was clean (no AC but able to get cross breeze through the windows) - overall a great place to stay.
Good albergue just outside Redondela, few minutes off the camino, lovely host, made dinner which was delicious at a very reasonable price, good facilities for an albergue, nice terrace and small garden.
Patricia was really welcoming, gave excellent recommendations on where to eat and what to do in our short time in Redondela. The accommodation is super clean and very comfortable for a Camino stay!
The apartment was spacious with 2 balconies in the heart of Redondela! The washer was a bonus for our mid-Camino trip and the apt was located on a nice quiet street for an amazing rest!
